RovLum ships worldwide. This page explains how your build reaches you, what shipping costs, and the risk considerations specific to our two build models.

1. Two Ways to Get a Build

Most customers choose send us your lamps because it costs less than buying a complete assembly. It also means your build preserves your original OEM housings, which matters for resale value on future car sales.

2. Turnaround

  • Standard build: 4–6 weeks from receipt of lamps (or from deposit on assembly orders)
  • Peak season (roughly November – May): 10–14 weeks
  • We confirm the build window in your quote. If your timeline is critical, tell us before ordering.

3. Shipping Costs

  • Rates are quoted per build and depend on destination country, package size, and courier.
  • We ship via tracked, insured courier (DHL / FedEx / UPS depending on destination).
  • Duties and import taxes are your responsibility. These are set by your country’s customs authority, not by us. Please check your country’s rules before ordering — surprises at the door are the most common source of delivery problems.

4. Inbound Shipping (You → Us)

If you are sending us your lamps:

  • Use insured, tracked shipping. We strongly recommend it.
  • Pack properly:
  • Wrap each housing individually in bubble wrap
  • Protect the lens and mounting tabs — these break most often
  • Use a rigid outer box; do not use a padded envelope alone
  • Do not ship glass or already-cracked components — we cannot repair them
  • Retain your tracking number until the build is complete and you have received your lamps back.

5. Loss or Damage in Transit

Customer → Us direction: responsibility rests with you. This is why we require insured, tracked shipping.

Us → You direction: if your package arrives damaged,

  1. Report it within 7 days of delivery
  2. Provide photos of the packaging and the damaged item
  3. Our default remedy is a prompt replacement — we do not require you to return the damaged item first

6. International Orders

We ship to most countries. Note:

  • Delivery times to customs-clearance adds 3–10 business days beyond transit
  • Some countries restrict LED automotive lighting on public roads — you are responsible for confirming local legality
  • We cannot ship to PO Box addresses for packages requiring signature

7. Tracking

Tracking numbers are emailed when your build ships. Signature is required on all international shipments. If you need a different delivery arrangement, contact us before dispatch.

8. Address Changes

Contact us immediately if your shipping address changes after ordering. Once a package is with the courier we cannot reliably redirect it.
