Warranty

Last updated: October 2026

Every RovLum build is backed by a workmanship warranty. The length depends on who installs it.

Warranty Length

The warranty starts on the delivery date of the finished product, not on the order date.

What Is Covered

  • Manufacturing defects in the LED modules, circuit boards, wiring, and housings we build
  • Component failure under normal use
  • Sequential and switchback functions failing as specified on your quote
  • Adhesive and sealing failures (modules loosening, water ingress)

What Is Not Covered

  • Damage from incorrect installation, wiring errors, or missing a load resistor where one is required
  • Water damage from high-pressure washing directly into the housing seal
  • Road debris impact, collision, or flexing of the housing
  • Modification of the product after delivery, including re-soldering or re-taping by a third party
  • Normal LED degradation — colour shift and brightness loss over time is expected in all LED products and is not a defect
  • Cosmetic wear, including minor yellowing of the lens under UV exposure

Warranty Exclusions by Build Type

  • RGB / RGBW colour-changing systems: warranty covers the hardware, not the colour output. App or Bluetooth connectivity issues are not covered after 90 days.
  • Smoked / tinted lenses: not covered against inspection failure in any jurisdiction.
  • Demon eye / start-up animation modules: covered for 1 year from self-installation, lifetime where installed by us.

How to Claim

Email [email protected] with:

  1. Your build reference or order number
  2. Vehicle year/make/model
  3. Description of the fault
  4. Photos or a short video
  5. Proof that installation was performed by us (if claiming lifetime coverage)

We respond to all claims within 2 business days. Approved repairs are completed within 10 business days of receipt, at our expense including return shipping.

Lifetime Warranty — What It Means

“Lifetime” here means: for the lifetime of the product for the original purchaser. It is not transferable to a subsequent owner, and it does not apply to products resold or transferred. We will still service a transferred unit, but at standard labour rates.
