Frequently Asked Questions

General
What do you do?
We modify automotive tail lights. Send us your OEM lamp housings (or buy a complete assembly from us) and we convert them to sequential turn signals, switchback white/amber, RGBW colour-changing, or add lens etching and housing refinishing.
Which vehicles do you work on?
We cover the models listed in our Shop menu. If your vehicle is not listed, contact us — we may still be able to source the right hardware.
Do I need to send you my lamps, or can I buy a complete unit?
Both are available. Sending us your lamps costs less and preserves your OEM housings. Buying from us costs more but is simpler if you want a full replacement.
Fitment
How do I know my vehicle is supported?
Submit an inquiry with your vehicle’s year, make, model, and the OEM part number printed on your lamp housing. We confirm compatibility before accepting any deposit.
Will my car look like someone else’s?
No. Every build is made to your specification. If you want a specific look, send reference photos.
What if my year is not listed?
Contact us with your vehicle details. Sometimes the same generation spans several model years and the lamps are interchangeable.
The Build Process
How long does it take?
4–6 weeks standard, 10–14 weeks in peak season (November – May). The exact window is confirmed in your quote.
Do I need to send you my lamps?
Only if you choose the “send us your lamps” model. If we supply the assembly, you don’t ship anything to us.
What condition must my lamps be in?
Structurally sound and not cracked or shattered. Heavily yellowed or brittle lenses can often be refinished — send photos and we’ll advise. We cannot repair broken glass or cracked mounting tabs.
Can I keep my original lights?
Yes — if you’re not using the originals immediately, tell us. We will return them with your build at no extra cost.
What happens if you can’t do the build?
We notify you and refund your deposit in full. This rarely happens, but if it does, you lose nothing.
Installation
Can I install it myself?
Yes. Sequential and switchback kits are designed for DIY installation and we provide wiring diagrams. RGBW and complex custom work is easier with professional help. Warranty is 1 year self-installed, lifetime when we install.
Do you ship wiring diagrams?
Yes, every build includes a diagram specific to your vehicle.
What tools do I need?
Basic hand tools and a soldering approach we detail in your guide. No special equipment.
Legal
Is this road legal?
Sequential and amber switchback systems are designed to meet DOT/SAE expectations in most US states when installed correctly. Full-colour RGB/RGBW systems are for off-road and show use only and are not road legal in most jurisdictions. Smoked lenses and demon eyes may fail inspection in some states.
What about my state’s inspection?
This varies. Tell us your state and vehicle year before ordering and we will tell you honestly what to expect. We will not tell you something is legal when it isn’t.
Can I use these in a show car?
Yes — many customers use them for show and track cars where road legality is not a concern.
Payment & Shipping
How do I pay?
50% deposit to begin, balance before shipping. We accept PayPal and card via Stripe.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, worldwide, tracked and insured. Duties and taxes are your responsibility.
Will I need a bulb or load resistor?
Sequential and switchback builds use integrated modules and do not need extra bulbs. We include any required load resistors where needed.
Support
How fast do you reply?
Within 1 business day for inquiries, 2 business days for warranty claims.
How do I track my build?
We email updates at each stage: quote accepted, build started, testing completed, shipped.
Something went wrong with my build. What now?
Email [email protected] with your build reference, photos, and a description. If it’s defective we fix, rebuild, or refund it — see our Returns & Refund Policy.
